A sigh in the night
Dreaming a fight
With no end in sight
Will you save me now?
Or will I fade from you,
A love you outgrew?

black rain on my chest
to envision the rest
leaves me possessed
by the wind when it
feels that you’re gone.
I am the empty dawn.

With three simple words
Whatever they mean
I am forever yours
My heart in between
Tell me now
If you want me here?

In your full embrace
I feel I’m in place
Shadows and grace.
But tendrils of fire,
Always release their hold
I shiver in the cold

But love so extreme
Is more than a dream
Despite what it seems
Without it I fall
to the dark corners
and you’d never know
