Unintended Lazyness
So... I'm in art.
But I'm not doing art, as you can tell. Mr. Temple has been talking since 12:25... a constant stream of his pounding views on global warming, Saddam Hussein, and now he's talking about why it's a waste to try to stop polluting. He's presenting an intense monologue about his low flow toilet, and what the man next to him was doing on the bus that caused him to never take public transportation again.
I should probably read Pride and Prejudice. I have to read 8 chapters by tomorrow. I have been expecting Mr. Temple to join me in the computer room to discuss my project. Don't count on it. He said he was going to instruct me, but who is he kidding? Lauren H. got him going, now he'll never stop. He's like the energizer bunny, but less furry.
Don't get me wrong. I like the guy, I just feel a little neglected. Who needs to hear anybody talk for this long? Yeah sure, say what you want, get your point across, but then get on with your life. I think he just likes hearing himself talk. He has a lot of interesting things to say, I just wish he would edit himself just a little more. And maybe have an open mind, with a little more room for actually listen to other people. Views are important, EVERYBODY'S views. He can be a really kind, compassionate person, and at the same time a very angry little man. He's sure funny. Now he's badmouthing Ms. Cone.
Mr. Temple, I am sending mental fingers that are tapping you on the shoulder and reminding you that you left me here... in the computer room.
On second thought maybe I should just tip-toe on over to my desk and get my English homework. Now he's talking about Vietnam. Maybe he's distracted enough not to notice...
